Walked to Snoqualmie pass and stayed at the summit Inn. The aardvark express food truck had some great curry dishes that were kinda like Thai. Weather isn’t looking great, but it might get nice in another week or so. Hopefully we can keep dry for the next 4 days to Stevens pass.

And now the weather is terrible. Three full days of almost constant rain. Not fun and didn’t see anything. Hopefully the weather gets better.

First day out of white pass. Still smiling.

Walked to white pass where we stayed for the night. Great views in the morning from a ridge we camped on. Still the weather has been great.

The Knife’s edge in Goat Rock wilderness. We had awesome weather for this. The day before people said was absurdly windy and too cloudy to see anything.

Walking around Mt Adams and into Goat Rock wilderness. Nice weather and nice walking.

A little higher elevation now, much more alpine. We can see Mt Adams and Mt St Helens. Soo much less hot than Oregon… it is easy to hike through the day without frying now.

Another 22 miles or so north. Still relatively low elevation, but much cooler than Oregon so far which makes the hiking much more enjoyable. Saw some clear-cuts. Someone told us that is Mt Adam’s we can see.

Crossed the very windy Bridge of the Gods over the Columbia River gorge and now we are in Washington for the next 500 miles.

Passed 1700 miles. Now we are in Ashland, Oregon taking a day or two off.

Up before sunrise to climb out of the valley before it gets too terribly hot. Lots of poison oak along the way.

Walking down to Seiad Valley. Feet are getting a bit tired these days especially because of the 6 mile road walk. Staying at the RV park which has a tv with the Olympics.
