Long climb and 20 miles into Wrightwood for a resupply. Nice to be above the clouds.

Padlocked fire hydrant. Tunnels under the highway to leave Cajon junction. 5 miles. Easy day.

Silverwood lake (Mesa campground) to Cajon Pass (staying at a Best Western tonight). Generally we are tired, but good. Enjoying some Del Taco, Subway, Corona, and hot tub.

The Mojave River Forks Dam (top) to Silverwood Lake (bottom) – mile 330 ish

Hiked 20 miles with full packs. Saw the Mojave River Forks dam. Crossed 300 miles. Camped near 314. Clouds and rain expected till Sunday, but that should be good since we have some dry sections coming up.

Camped near Holcomb Creek near mile 292. Saw a King snake while filtering water but he ran away before I got a picture.

Big Bear Lake! Mile 279 ish
